Overview

The Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2009. The Department offers B.Tech, M.Tech. and Ph.D. programs with specializations:

  • B.Tech. in Civil Engineering
  • B.Tech. in Construction Technology and Management (CTM)
  • M.Tech. in Structural Engineering
  • Ph.D. in Structural Engg., Geotechnical Engg. and Transportation Engg.

The intake into the Civil Engineering is 180 students; to the CTM is 60 students and to the M.Tech. is 60 students, in total every year 300 students enrol into the department. The Department has highly committed faculty and train the students in latest technologies to make them job ready as per industry expectations. The department is enriched with well-established laboratory and infrastructure; it has its own significance at Anurag University as one of the biggest Civil Engineering College in Hyderabad. It undertakes consultancy works of private and government sectors to offer its professional services to society. The department continues engagement with the industry and frequent visits to the major projects helps the students to understand the real time applications of their conceptual knowledge.
