Overview

Master of pharmacy in Pharmaceuticals is an advanced research post-graduate degree program which was introduced in the year 2009. Pharmaceutics is designed to impart knowledge on various aspects of drug design, development, testing, and safe and effective use of drugs/medicines including drug delivery systems. The department focuses on unique concepts to develop skillful process or techniques for designing, procuring and evaluating various kinds of drugs and drug delivery systems. The Department has a rich tradition of innovation and advancement of health through new knowledge.
It also gives candidates the opportunity to conduct their own research. The pharmaceutical sciences are a group of interdisciplinary areas of study concerned with the design, action, delivery and disposition of drugs.
