Biography

Dr. Marri Pradeep Kumar received the B.Sc. in Chemistry and Biology, from the Osmania University, Hyderabad (2007), the M.Sc. degree in Organic Chemistry from the Kakatiya University, Warangal (2009)., and his Ph.D. from Osmania University, Hyderabad in 2007 under the supervision of Professor Shivaraj, Dept. of Chemistry, UCS, OU, Hyderabad. After brief stints as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Hyderabad (Central University) under the mentorship of Prof. Samar Kumar Das, School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad, Gachibowli, Hyderabad and as an Assistant Professor at the St.Peter’s Engineering College (An UGC Autonomous institutions) (2019-2022), he was appointed to the Department of Chemistry at Anurag University in 2022 as an Assistant Professor. He has received several important recognitions to his research career, including the “Young Scientist Award” Prize for Young Scientists given by the Indian Council of Chemists (ICC) in 2014 for best oral presentation. He is a life member of premier scientific organization namely, The Indian Society for Technical Education ISTE (LM 131258).

Research Interests

Dr. Marri Pradeep Kumar has contributed a lot in the thrust area such as Bio-coordination chemistry- Design, synthesis, crystal structure and biological activity of metal complexes. He is also interested in polyoxometalate Chemistry-Synthesis, crystal structure and electrochemical applications and also interested in recent developments in Nonmaterials Chemistry.

Teaching Interests

Dr. Marri Pradeep Kumar has taught a wide range of subjects to undergraduate students. He taught Organic Chemistry to B.Sc. graduates. He also taught graduate classes for Engineering Chemistry and Environmental Science.
