Golconda Fort

Golconda Fort built on a hilltop in the year 1143and It was originally a mud fort under the reign of Rajah of Warangal. Later it was fortified between 14th and 17th centuries by the Bahmani Sultans and then the ruling Qutub Shahi dynasty. Golconda was the principal capital of the Qutub Shahi kings. The inner fort contains ruins of palaces, mosques and a hill top pavilion, which rises about 130 meters high and gives a bird’s eye view of other buildings.

Hussain Sagar, Tank Bund

Hussain sagar lake was excavated in the year1562 A.D. by Hussain Shah Wali during the reign of Ibrahim QuliQutb Shah, the promenade of which is now a busy thoroughfare. Boating and water sports are a regular feature in the Hussain Sagar Lake. It is a large manmade lake of Hyderabad and was constructed on a small tributary of the Musi River. A monolithic statue of the Buddha installed with pain staking efforts in the heart of this lake is an added charm.

Nagarjuna Sagar Dam

A site to behold when its gates are opened during peak flood season in Monsoon, Nagarjuna Sagar Dam is considered one of largest dams built in the recent times in Asia. As the tallest masonry dam, Nagarjuna Sagar Dam is also the pride of India. The mighty dam was completed in the year 1969 and has a majestic height of 124 meters. It is 1 km long, and has 26 crest gates.

Nehru Zoological Park

The major attraction for visitors within the zoo is the Lion Safari. A van fenced with iron will take you through the gates of the safari. Bhagyanagar Nandanavanam Deer Park is nature conservative park situated on Hyderabad-Warangal National Highway. It houses a wide range of flora and fauna, prominent among them being deer. Yadagirigutta Narasimha Swamy Temple

Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple situated a hillock in Yadagirigutta of YadadriBhuvanagiri district of the Indian state of Telangana. The temple is an abode of Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It is located 62 km from Hyderabad The temple is in a cave about 12 feet high by 30 feet long.

Birla Mandir

Birla Mandir temple wasbuilt by Birla’s in 1976 with white marbles. The hillock is at a height of 280-feet situated on a 13-acre plot.The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu present in the form of Sri Venkateswara. One can find the kirtanas of Tyagaraja, Annamayya, and Ramadasu reverberating against the backdrop of a blue sky in the morning.

Jagannath Swamy Temple

Jagannath Temple is dedicated to revered God Shri Krishna. Jagan means Universe and Nath is the Lord. He is one of the incarnations of Vishnu.This temple is a replica of the original Jagannath temple of Puri. The most appealing portion of the temple is its “Shikaram” (the peak or the top). It is about 70 feet in height. Sand stones brought from Orissa have been used in the construction of this temple, and that justifies its red colour and around 60 sculptors were employed to carve this awe-inspiring temple.

The Statue of Equality, also referred to as the Ramanuja statue, is a statue of the 11th-century Ramanuja, located on the premises of the Chinna Jeeyar Trust at Muchintal, Ranga Reddy district in the outskirts of Hyderabad. It is the second tallest sitting statue in the world
