Senior university figures including the Chairman, Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, CEO, Registrar, Deans, Directors, and Department Heads all addressed the crowd, speaking not in corporate language but in the kind of plain, direct way that actually reaches a 18-year-old sitting in a hall wondering what the next four years will look like. They talked about academics, attendance, opportunities, and the unwritten parts of college life that nobody puts in a brochure. Parents had their own session too questions answered, concerns addressed, and a quiet reassurance that their children had landed somewhere that genuinely cares.
Where the Real Energy Was
If the hall was where the formal orientation happened, the area outside APJ Hall was where Anurag University truly came alive. Club stalls stretched across the space technical clubs, non-technical clubs, arts, sports, NSS, NCC each one buzzing with current students eager to share what they'd built and who they were looking for. For freshmen walking through those stalls, it was the first real glimpse of what university life actually feels like beyond the classroom. Flash mobs erupted. Performances pulled crowds. A photo booth under the theme "Inspiring Tomorrows" gave everyone a moment to pause, smile, and mark the occasion. The energy was infectious in the best possible way.
