Digital manufacturing is the integration of a computer-based system comprised of simulation, 3D visualization, analytics, and collaboration tools to create product and manufacturing process definitions simultaneously and the main goal of this Digital Manufacturing Club (DiMaC) is to investigate the fundamentals and advancements in digital manufacturing by giving members a common platform to communicate with knowledgeable faculty and researchers in this field. Digital manufacturing is a part of smart manufacturing, which is the fusion of virtual and physical worlds.
