Anurag University, in collaboration with the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Student Chapter, is organizing a panel discussion on “Women Empowerment and Gender Equality for Inclusive Growth in the Clean Energy Transition in the Emerging Power Sector.” Supported through a USD 500 grant from the IEEE PES Expanding Collaboration and Engagement (ECE) Committee, this event aims to inspire, educate, and engage women students, researchers, and professionals in the evolving power and energy landscape. The session will explore the critical role women play in enabling a just, equitable, and sustainable clean energy transition, while also reflecting on the persistent gender gaps that continue to exist across technical, managerial, and leadership positions in the power sector.
