Biography

Shwetha received master degree from Osmania University in 2008, M.Tech. degree from University of Hyderabad in 2011, Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad in 2016. She also worked as Research Associate in Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research till 2020. Later she moved to Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science and worked as Assistant Professor till 2022. She joined in Anurag University in Sep 2022. She has received Gold medal from Osmania University and Academic Excellence Award from IIT Hyderabad. She is an Associate fellow in Telangana Academy of Sciences.

Research Interests

She has been working on Density functional theory calculations in the various fields
Scintillators
High pressure structure phase transition
Magnetic materials
2D materials
Heterostructure etc

Teaching Interests

She taught Applied Physics for undergraduate students and Electronic structure theory and Numerical methods for Ph.D. students
