Biography

Md. Sikindar Baba received a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University in 2001 and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Technological University, Hyderabad in 2019. He is having more than 18 years of teaching experience and published 10 papers in international journals and 5 in international conferences. He is actively implementing collaborative teaching learning methods to enable the student centric learning and outcome-based education. He is a Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education.

Research Interests

Sikindar Baba’s research interests revolve around heat transfer and thermal sciences. His research work comprises of study of heat transfer enhancement using nanofluids in heat exchangers. The work involves the estimation of heat transfer enhancement and pressure drop using internal fins in the heat exchangers with the flow of nanofluids. Currently he is actively involved in analysing the effect of presence of different profiles of fins in the inner and outer side of the heat exchangers.

Teaching Interests

Sikindar Baba has taught undergraduate classes in Engineering Graphics, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulic Machines, Thermal Engineering, Refrigeration & Air- conditioning, Automobile Engineering and Heat Transfer.
