Physics Faculty Earns Ph.D. from Anurag University

Anurag University congratulates Mr. Lingamurthy Ande, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, on successfully earning his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Anurag University. His doctoral thesis, "Polyethylene Glycol-Mediated Synthesis of ZnO Nanostructures: Influence of B, Al, and Ga Dopants on Antibacterial Activity," highlights his contribution to advanced materials research with potential biomedical applications.
The research investigates the synthesis of zinc oxide (ZnO) nanostructures and examines how different dopants influence their antibacterial properties. The findings contribute to the development of functional nanomaterials with promising applications in healthcare, antimicrobial technologies, and next-generation biomedical materials.
Conducted under the guidance of Dr. M. Srinivasa Reddy, Professor and Head, Department of Physics, this doctoral achievement reflects the university's emphasis on research that addresses scientific and societal challenges. It also reinforces the growing impact of research in nanotechnology and advanced materials for improving health and quality of life.
