Chemistry Faculty Publish SCI Q2 Research on Anticancer Compounds

Anurag University congratulates Dr. Savita Belwal, Professor & Head, Department of Chemistry, and Dr. E. Laxminarayana, Professor, Department of Chemistry, on the publication of their research paper titled "Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Aryl (benzofuran-5-yl)-[1,2,4] Triazolo[4,3-a] Pyridine Derivatives as Anticancer Agents." The research has been published in Chemistry & Biodiversity (Wiley & Sons), a Q2, SCIE and Scopus-indexed international journal with an Impact Factor of 2.9 and an H-Index of 91.
The study focuses on the synthesis and biological evaluation of novel heterocyclic compounds with promising anticancer potential. By developing and assessing new aryl triazolopyridine derivatives, the research contributes to the ongoing search for effective therapeutic molecules that can support future advancements in cancer treatment and medicinal chemistry.
