Research Internship – TEEP@ASIAPLUS 2025: Bamboo Nokiac Project

We are proud to share that Ms. Sreenija Boyina, a B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture student (Batch 2022–2026) from Anurag University, has successfully completed a research internship under the TEEP@ASIAPLUS – 2025 program.
Her research project titled “Bamboo Nokiac Project – Preserving Bamboo Culture and Design through Smart App” focused on integrating technology with traditional practices to promote sustainable use and preservation of bamboo-based cultural heritage. The project was carried out under the guidance of Prof. Shi-Ming (Jack) Huang during November–January 2026.
During the internship, she gained valuable exposure to interdisciplinary research, combining agriculture, technology, and sustainability. This experience enhanced her research skills, global perspective, and understanding of innovative approaches to cultural and environmental conservation.
