AI Powered Pest and Disease Detection Device – Design Patent Granted
We are proud to share that faculty members and research scholars from the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Anurag University have successfully published a design patent titled “AI Powered Pest and Disease Detection Device.” The patent was filed on 25th June 2025 and granted on 30th October 2025, marking a significant milestone in innovation and applied research.
The contributors include Dr. Pardeep Kumar, Dr. Basava Raju, Dr. Abdul Ahad, Mr. Nallamothu Raghu, Mr. Vishal Khanna, Mr. Premprakash Ramanjaneya Prasad, and Ms. Pogula Srivani.
This innovation focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence to detect pests and plant diseases efficiently, supporting smart agriculture and improving crop health monitoring. The patent reflects their dedication to developing impactful technological solutions for real-world challenges.
