AI Faculty Receives Best Paper Award at International Conference
Anurag University is proud to announce that Ms. S. Pavithra from the Department of Artificial Intelligence presented her research paper titled “Energy-Efficient Neural Network Training via Confidence-Aware Selective Gradient Updates” at the 5th International Conference on Deep Sciences for Computing and Communications (IconDeepCom 2026).
The conference was organized by SRM Institute of Science and Technology in association with Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan, bringing together researchers and academicians from around the world. The research was carried out under the guidance of Dr. M. Trupthi, Department of Artificial Intelligence, Anurag University, and Dr. K. Rushikesh, Professor, Providence University, Taiwan. In recognition of its innovation, technical excellence, and research contribution, the paper was honored with the Best Paper Award.
This achievement highlights the research capabilities and academic excellence of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and reflects Anurag University's commitment to fostering impactful research, innovation, and global academic collaboration.
