Dr. Poli Lokeshwara Reddy Wins Best Paper Award at IEEE InCoWoCo

Anurag University proudly congratulates Dr. Poli Lokeshwara Reddy, Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, on earning the Best Paper Award at the IEEE International Conference (InCoWoCo), held at G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management, Pune, Maharashtra. His award-winning paper, 'H-LDM: A Hierarchical LLM-Driven Framework for Remote Sensing Change Detection and Domain Assistance,' has been published by IEEE and indexed in Scopus.
The research sits at the cutting edge of two rapidly advancing fields: large language models (LLMs) and remote sensing. Change detection in remote sensing, identifying differences in satellite or aerial imagery over time, is vital for applications such as environmental monitoring, urban planning, and disaster response. By introducing a hierarchical, LLM-driven framework, Dr. Reddy's work explores innovative ways to enhance the accuracy and intelligence of these systems while offering domain assistance. Securing a Best Paper Award at an IEEE conference reflects the originality and technical merit of the contribution.
This achievement highlights Anurag University's engagement with emerging, high-impact research areas. The university congratulates Dr. Lokeshwara Reddy on this distinguished recognition and celebrates his pioneering work bridging advanced AI and remote sensing technologies.
