Independence Day Celebrations at Anurag University

Hyderabad, 15 August 2026: Anurag University celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. The celebrations brought together the university leadership, faculty members, NCC Cadets, NSS volunteers and students to honour the nation's journey of freedom and the sacrifices of the freedom fighters. The programme was graced by Dr. Archana Mantri, Vice Chancellor, Anurag University, along with senior university officials, NCC Officers, NSS Trainers, faculty members and other dignitaries.
A grand ceremonial parade by the NCC Cadets and NSS volunteers was a major highlight, reflecting discipline, unity, patriotism and service. The celebrations also featured competitions that encouraged students to showcase their talent and patriotic spirit, with meritorious participants felicitated with awards. A vibrant cultural programme further showcased India's diversity, heritage and patriotic spirit.
The celebrations concluded with the National Song and National Anthem, bringing the university community together in a shared expression of pride and respect for the nation. The event reinforced the values of patriotism, unity, discipline and responsible citizenship, inspiring students to contribute towards building a stronger and progressive India.
