Research Internship at National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan – AI-Based Flood Evacuation Planning

We are proud to share that Chirra Meghana Reddy (23EG105P17), a student from CSE–P at Anurag University, has successfully completed a research internship at National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan.
Her research work titled “AI-Based Evacuation Route Planning and Resource Allocation during Floods” focused on developing optimized evacuation strategies using AI, GIS, and HEC-RAS data for effective disaster management in Chiayi City. The project aimed at improving emergency response systems by enhancing route planning and resource distribution during flood situations.
In addition to technical learning, the internship provided valuable international exposure through Mandarin language classes, industrial visits, and collaboration with global researchers. This experience reflects her strong research aptitude, adaptability, and commitment to applying technology for real-world societal challenges.
