Dr. C. Sravanthi Publishes Paper on Abrasive Water Jet Machining

Anurag University is pleased to recognise the research achievement of Dr. C. Sravanthi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, on the publication of her paper titled 'Optimisation of Parameters for Abrasive Water Jet Machining of Aluminium 7075 Alloys using Taguchi Method' in the International Journal of Vehicle Structures and Systems, a Scopus-indexed (Q4) journal with an H-index of 26.
Abrasive water jet machining is an important advanced manufacturing process valued for its precision and ability to cut hard materials without heat-affected zones, and Aluminium 7075 is a high-strength alloy widely used in aerospace and automotive applications. By applying the Taguchi method to systematically optimise machining parameters, Dr. Sravanthi's research offers practical insights that can improve process efficiency, surface quality, and material performance, contributions of direct relevance to industry. Research of this nature strengthens the bridge between academic inquiry and real-world manufacturing needs.
This publication reflects Anurag University's commitment to fostering meaningful, application-oriented research within its engineering departments. The university congratulates Dr. Sravanthi on this valuable contribution to materials and manufacturing research and celebrates her dedication to advancing knowledge in her field.
