CSE Students Earn Prestigious IEEE Richard E. Merwin Student Scholarship 2026

Anurag University proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of Mr. Hari Charan Reddy Yella, Chair of the IEEE Computer Society – Anurag University Student Branch Chapter (SBC), and Mr. Rakshith Sunku, Chair of the IEEE Student Branch, Anurag University, on being selected for the prestigious IEEE Computer Society Richard E. Merwin Student Scholarship 2026. Chosen from more than 200 applications worldwide, they are among only 18 students globally to receive this distinguished recognition. Each recipient will be awarded a USD 1,000 scholarship, an official scholarship certificate, and a two-year complimentary IEEE Computer Society membership.
The IEEE Richard E. Merwin Student Scholarship is one of the Computer Society's most prestigious student leadership awards, recognizing individuals who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, technical excellence, and leadership within the global IEEE community. Receiving this scholarship places the awardees among an elite group of student leaders who have made meaningful contributions to advancing technology, professional engagement, and community initiatives through IEEE activities.
