Shreyas Chanda Presents RUDRA Rocketry Mission to Shri K. T. Rama Rao
Anurag University proudly spotlights Shreyas Chanda, a final-year Electronics and Communication Engineering student and active member of the Anurag Space Research Center (ASRC). On 1st December 2025, he met Shri K. T. Rama Rao to present the RUDRA Model Rocketry Mission, representing Team RUDRA in the IN-SPACe Model Rocketry India Student Competition 2024-25. During the meeting, Shreyas showcased ASRC's key missions, including its 2U and 6U CubeSats, RUDRA Rocketry, and Agri-Drone Systems, demonstrating the centre's impressive breadth of student-led innovation.
The RUDRA Rocket Mission received financial support from Shri K. T. Rama Rao, who appreciated the innovation, dedication, and technical progress shown by the student research teams. This support is set to accelerate the final fabrication and preparations for the mission's planned launch in February 2026. Such recognition and backing from a prominent leader is a strong endorsement of the quality and ambition of Anurag University's space research initiatives.
The achievement reflects the university's commitment to advancing student innovation in space technology and creating real opportunities for young engineers to engage with national competitions and industry leaders.
