Team Maharadhi Wins 3rd Place at National-Level 36-Hour Hackathon

Anurag University celebrates the success of Team Maharadhi, a spirited group of third-year Data Science students who secured 3rd Place at a demanding 36-hour national-level hackathon held at Potti Sriramulu Chalavadi Mallikarjuna Rao College of Engineering, Vijayawada, on 11th-12th December 2025. Competing against teams from across the country, the team, comprising T. Chaitanya Kumar (Data Science), P. Srikar (AIML), and E. Rishik (AIML), built and presented a solution under intense time pressure, earning both recognition and a cash prize of Rs.15,000.
Hackathons of this scale test far more than coding ability; they demand rapid problem-solving, collaboration, resilience, and the capacity to deliver a working solution within a tight window. Team Maharadhi's podium finish reflects strong technical excellence, seamless teamwork, and the kind of dedication that turns classroom learning into competitive performance.
Achievements like these underline Anurag University's emphasis on experiential, industry-aligned education that prepares students to thrive in real-world challenges. The university congratulates the team on this proud accomplishment and looks forward to seeing them take on even bigger stages in the future.
