Anurag University: Telangana’s First Educational Institution to develop and launch Satellite in collaboration with ITCA.
Anurag University is now all set to add a feather in its cap by signing an MoU with ITCA (Indian Technology Congress Association) to participate in the joint development of Anurag Satellite (ANURAGsat) and contribute to prestigious initiative launched by Government of India, “75 Students’ Satellites Mission 2022″ celebrating 75 years of Independence 1947-2022 – Azaadi ka Amruth Mahotsav.
The ambitious Mission 2022 aims to launch 75 student-built satellites into orbit, with the larger emphasis on academia laying a foundation to science-based education and experiencebased learning. Such initiatives help build an innovation culture in the country and prepare the future workforce in the emerging SpaceTech and related sectors.

As Anurag University believes in education through experience and innovation, it has come forward to participate in the this mission facilitating about 200 of its students from different engineering streams for building competencies to design, develop, build, integrate, test, launch and monitor small satellites using hands-on experience under the supervision of faculty.
Global Space Tech organizations from Israel, Serbia and Japan are amongst other nations taking part in this mission.

Taking the initiative forward, Anurag University has signed a MoU with ITCA at its premises on 02-02-2022.
