Biography

Dr. A. Pradeep Kumar is an active academician, erudite researcher and a literary critic. He completed his Ph. D from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He has 23 years of vast teaching experience at higher/professional level. Besides, he has 15 years of experience in academic administration as well. Presently, he is working in the position of Associate Professor of English at Anurag University. Previously, he worked as Head, Department of General Sciences & Humanities and I-B. Tech Coordinator at Vivekananda Institute of Technology & Science, Karimnagar for 10 years. He has also worked as a coordinator of various committees for the smooth functioning of academics. Presently, he is fulfilling the responsibility of coordinator of NAAC and IQAC, pertaining to Department of English.
He has 30 research publications to his credit. They were published in edited books, national and international journals. He has presented many research papers in national and international seminars and conferences. His research interests include Postcolonial Literature, Partition Fiction, Eco-Crtical Studies and English Language Teaching (English for Special Purposes, English for Academic Purposes, Use of Technology in ELT and Soft Skills). Apart from being a teacher, he has excellent training skills. As an Infosys-Certified Soft Skills Trainer, he has imparted soft skill training to the students in view of campus placement drives. As a resource person, he has given talks in many workshops in other engineering colleges. He has organised many academic events/functions in the colleges where he worked earlier. He has been invited as a panelist for the selection of English faculty members in other engineering colleges and colleges of Arts and Sciences. He is a member of Board of Studies, Department of English, Anurag University. He is a Life Member of English Language Teachers Association (ELTAI), Osmania University Centre for International Programmes (OUCIP) and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
