Anti Ragging Committee

The Anti-Ragging Committee has been established in view of the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in SLP No. 24295 of 2006 dated 16-05-2007 and in Civil Appeal number 887 of 2009, dated 08-05-2009 to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging including any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student, or indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities by any student or students which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in any fresher or any other student or asking any student to do any act which such student will not in the ordinary course do and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame, or torment or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of such fresher or any other student, with or without an intent to derive a sadistic pleasure or showing off power, authority or superiority by a student over any fresher or any other student, in all higher education institutions in the country, and thereby, to provide for the healthy development, physically and psychologically, of all students.

Hostel Management committee

The Hostel Management committee is constituted with the Dean (student Affairs), Chief Warden, Warden(s) and Assistant warden(s). They shall be responsible for the proper functioning of the Hostel.

The committee is responsible to:

  1. Create a positive ambience in hostels.
  2. Maintain the hostel and mess and ensure to provide quality services
  3. Create overall disciplined environment in hostel
  4. Provide the platform for students so that they can showcase their talent.
  5. Provide them infrastructure conducive for their growth and amenities for their recreation

Women Welfare Committee

Women Welfare Committee is a platform that will provide all women community members the opportunity to express their concerns related to the betterment of the community/Institute with issues concerning the welfare of women.

Women Welfare Committee will take care of welfare programs and will address concerns related to women students, faculty and staff members.

Grievance Redressal Committee

The functions of the Grievance Redressal Committee Committee are to look into the complaints lodged by any student, and judge its merit. The Grievance Redressal Committee is also empowered to look into matters of harassment. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the Grievance Redressal Committee members in person. In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be sent in writing. Grievances may also be sent through e-mail to the Dean – Student Affairs.

Disciplinary Committee

Disciplinary Committee maintains discipline, dignity, decorum and rapport of the University. Students are enforced to obey and follow the rules, regulation and channelize their energy into positive direction to promote their personality and character.

The committee is responsible to:

  • Ensure calm and peaceful academic atmosphere in the campus.
  • Aviod physical confrontation among students.
  • Conduct enquiries on report of indiscipilinary activities among students
  • Initiate model actions against students involved in indiscipilinary activities
