Biography

Ravi Arukula received a Bachelor degree (B.Sc.) from Osmania University, Hyderabad, and Telangana.He has completed Master of Science (M.Sc.) from Osmania University, Hyderabad, and Telangana in 2010. He has completed Doctoral research at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR- IICT) with CSIR-JRF & SRF fellowships and received degree from Osmania University in 2017. Further he moved to South Korea (Chonbuk National University) and United States (Pittsburgh State University, Kansas) to pursue the overseas postdoctoral research experience. In 2018 he has been selected for the Dr. DS Kothari Postdoctoral prestigious UGC fellowship with the host of University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad. He also worked as Assistant Professor at Aurora PG College, chikkadapally and GITAM deemed to be University in the Department of Chemistry Rudraram (V), Patancheru (M), Sangareddy (D) and Telangana. He is the author of the book title “Conducting polyurethanes and polyureas with oligoanilines” (Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany).He has attended more than 12 national and international conferences. He is carrying total 10 years of teaching and research experience.

Bio-based polyurethanes,
conducting polyurethanes for corrosion protection,
flexible/stretchable supercapacitors,
fuel cells,
carbon materials like carbon nanotubes,
graphene oxide,
graphene,
nanomaterials,
sensors and multifunctional materials.

Teaching Interests

Dr. Ravi Arukula has taught undergraduate classes in Organic Chemistry and Engineering Chemistry.
He has teaching interests in, Organic & Inorganic chemistry with spectroscopic aspects for graduates
and Post Graduates.
