Overview

The MCA (Master of Computer Applications) program is a 3-year full-time course designed to provide students with a strong foundation in computer science and its applications. The program emphasizes both theoretical concepts and practical skills, and is designed to prepare students for a wide range of careers in the field.

Outcome Based Education

The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) of the MCA program are to provide students with advanced knowledge in computer science and its applications, develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, enhance communication and interpersonal skills, encourage research and innovation, and prepare students for successful careers in the field.
The Program Outcomes (POs) of the MCA program are to enable students to apply advanced knowledge of computer science to solve complex problems, design and develop software applications, use modern engineering tools and software platforms to design, simulate, and implement computer systems, work effectively as part of a team, understand professional and ethical responsibilities, and engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
The Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs) of the MCA program are to develop solutions to complex computing problems by applying advanced concepts and techniques in computer science, design and develop software applications to meet the needs of industry and society, and conduct research in emerging areas of computer science.
