Biography
Dr.Tara Singh Thakur is a passionate Physical Educationist and Sportsmen. Being a regular sportsman since childhood, Mr.Singh has developed interest in Sports and with the passion towards Physical Education he has achieved Girish Joshi Gold Medal for being the topper in M.P.Ed at Osmania University and completed Ph.D in Sports Psychology from the same University.He has been a part of the University Cricket and Athletics teams. Singh is a certified Fitness trainer from National Institute of Sports. Working with faculty and students of engineering streams for more than a decade, Thakur has developed interest in applications of various engineering techniques to sports and physical education and is an active researcher in this field.Dr.Tara Singh has also served JNTUH-Hyderabad as a member of University Sports Council.
