Biography
Mr. K. Velmurugan received Bachelor of Arts (English) from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai in 2007, Master of Arts (English) from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in 2009, and Master of Philosophy (English Language Teaching) from Bharathiar University in 2011. He has submitted his Ph. D (ELT) Thesis at National Institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal. He initially worked as an Assistant Professor in Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology, Thiruvallur from 2011 to 2015 and one year as an Assistant Professor in KIT and KIM Technical Campus, Karaikudi, Tamil nadu from 2016 to 2017. He has worked as guest lecturer in NIT Puducherry from 2019 to 2020. He has joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Anurag University in 2022. He has presented papers on English Language Teaching in many national and international conferences. He has published papers in reputed journals on topics under English Language Teaching; Multiple Intelligences through CALL, Reading Skills, Second Language Acquisition, and ICT. He has authored two book chapters under Recent trends in ELT with ISBN.
