Overview
Anurag University is established as a Private State University through Ordinance No. 1/2020, dated: 20.05.2020 as per the Telangana State Private Universities Act No. 11 of 2018. Our primary focus is to provide a high quality education in Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral programs of various disciplines.
Anurag University is a private university located in Hyderabad, Telangana. Our primary focus is to provide a high-quality graduate, postgraduate and doctoral education in engineering, pharmacy and management fields.
Foundation
The Gayathri Educational and Cultural Trust (GECT) founded by ‘Guru’ Sri Sivananda Murthy Garu in 1982 with the objective of imparting quality education.During 1990’s the Trust established Lalitha Degree College at Nampally, Hyderabad with Undergraduate Courses – B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com. Ever since, the GECT has established colleges offering Engineering, Pharmacy, Education, Management and Computer Applications programs.
The Anurag Group of Institutions (AGI) is one of the first few integrated campuses of South India established in 2002, offering programs in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Business Management.In 2020, the AGI has transformed as Anurag University.
The University is spreading over 50+ acres with a total built-up area of over 1mn. sft. The University has setup with best-in-class infrastructure facilities to train about 10000 students by the support of about 1000 teaching and non-teaching fraternity. The institution has adopted world class teaching-learning pedagogy that is constantly appraised and revised to align with the trends in global higher education.
